LA GARD 3190 Electronic Safe Lock

Hi,

I got a cabinet safe given to me, but it did not come with instructions or current code. The doors is open, so i can get to the lock itself.
Have been trying to find instructions on how to reset it, but cannot even find instructions on how to use it.
From what little info i could find, it is the lock that has only 4 buttons, two for going up and down and two enter keys.

Would be great if someone could help me reset the lock.

Thanks
Martin

That is the operating instructions for the 3190 entry pad:

I assume that multiple lock models can operate with the 3190 pad. Maybe it helps to have a look on what is written on the lock. If it is a model certified in Europe, than a reset of the combination from the entry pad without knowing the combination should not be possible, might be the same for US approved locks. Perhaps it is possible to reset the lock with physical access to the lock itself.

Re: LA GARD 3190 Electronic Safe Lock

I've only got my hands on one electronic lock so far, a SecuRAM model... it has a pinhole reset button that was hidden under a quality control sticker. Don't know if that's common, but might be something to look for.

Hi,

thanks for the replies and the manual.

>SecuRAM model
Yes, i have seen that model, but my lock does not have the qc sticker, unless it is under the big sticker?

>Maybe it helps to have a look on what is written on the lock.
Here is the image of the lock.

Not sure if they sell the US version of the lock here in Australia?
It does look like the locking mechanism has been opened before, as the screws are damaged and the housing scratched.

cheers

That looks like the 6040 SmartLinc II (https://mbausa.com/lagard-6040-smartlin ... lock-body/ )

This might help (not positive it's the same) http://www.kaba-mas.com/media/801888/v3 ... ctions.pdf You could try the supermaster code on the second page, but it sounds like you'll require a reset box ( https://mbausa.com/lagard-6066-reset-box/ )

Re: LA GARD 3190 Electronic Safe Lock

Is it locked? If so, you're out of luck. Aside from trying some default combos: 123456, 502550. If it's unlocked and you can get to the lock body, you can reset.

Re: LA GARD 3190 Electronic Safe Lock

Its a while since I've done a tl11, if I am remembering correctly they can either be done through the keypad if you have both the master and managers codes or with a reset box to put them in presetup mode, but you will then need the software to get it out of presetup into a working state.
