And would you agree with my theory that the large "plugged holes" on the inside of the door and on the bottom of the safe are for injecting the safe's insulation?

They are probably usable for this purpose, but I don't know if they were used for this.

Sorry for such a delayed response on this. I did get a chance to look through my records, but had not wrote down a serial number for that one, no. Either the tag was gone or not legible, or, more likely - I was not taking very thorough notes back then.

As to the plugged holes... I too have been curious, but really don't know. My guess has always been like yours; where they inject the fireproof insulation. But again, I really don't know for sure.
