Re: Cole combination lock on file cabinets

So looking for good alternative locks if upgrading From the Cole combo .

"Built-In Locker Locks | SchoolLockers.com" https://www.schoollockers.com/locker-lo ... cker-locks

Bolt size and measurements need to be considered when shopping for replacement locks.
A Horizontal bolt is a must on this .. so check before buying :geek:

You may want to fit a cam lock instead that uses a key ...lots of options (Mod Power)

Models of cabinet sold by Cole with the manipulation proof lock .

Try this method first if you have N number usually 6 digits wrote in back of cabinet.
For 3 inch and 21/2 Dials the method differs. See link below How to rearrange those numbers
Wrote to get that combo ..

Re: Cole combination lock on file cabinets

The Cole is a 2-wheel lock. The locker locks are much smaller and I doubt they will fit.

The best method is to decode the code if someone is still willing to do it. Second best is manipulation. It is a really easy lock.
