Just got this into my grimy mitts today..
picked CCW..(gut instinct..never held one of these,ever.)

Nice padlock. Nothing to do with the railways though unless it is so marked.

British railways used Squire and the london underground used a variety of companies for it's master keyed system over the years, Yale / Anker / Evva / Assa to name a few, allways restricted profiles. Your lock is the standard Silca UNI3 by the look of it.
