Holy giant pictures batman!
When you go to imgur and select your images tab and you click an image it should bring up a window with link options. At the very bottom of that on the right hand side should be a bunch of size options. Could you please select "large/huge" thumbnail option please? Once you do that edit please your post with the new links so that they are smaller for our mobile users.

Anyone know how to remove that top cap in the first pic non destructively? or how to take the lock apart in general? Korver had to use no the best means to pop that round cover off. I was thinking maybe to ship that bolt like we do usually on shutter locks?

I have a lot of these (photos will be going up in my locks thread soon), but as far as I can see it, the only way to remove those caps is to use a knife tool or something sharp/thin to dig into the rubber or around the edge and yank it off. There's no easy way to get underneath it as the bolt is there, and you have to remove this rubber cap in order to remove the bolt, so I believe the only way is from above.
I have one in my hand right now so if you can think of anything I could try, I'd be happy to
Oh, I should note that my method of removal isn't really destructive; it does leave a little hole or dent in the plastic though sadly.
