I took a prototype Commando lock to my locksport meeting. Hiwiller of this forum, who has picked all the XEO locks I've set before him was unable to get the padlock open!!

Just curious - what is with the double springs? I see that there will be more force on the middle pins.. just curious how this works.. also curious about those top pins that are the same length, or is that just to grab the larger springs?

I actually have this lock right now infront of me. It is incredibly difficult. The inserted springs are meant to confuse feedback by adding artificial springiness to the pinstacks and also to add extra downforce.
