Squire Stronghold SS65C
I got a Squire Stronghold SS65C a few weeks ago, picked it and uploaded a video of it today. People then started asking about what is inside (core and pins). So far I had not taken it apart because it all felt like regular driver pins. But things are a little bit more interesting then I expected it to be.
I am not really sure why each pin has two different diameter but I guess it is supposed to be some type of bump protection which it is not (at least in this lock). The first pin does not enter the core as far as the others do. So I guess a regular bump key cant reach it. Maybe they also switch the position of this pin so that it is not always the first.
Now we get to the part that is really wierd. The first pin is already set. So even if it is supposed to be some bump protection like i guessed, it really isnt. Now I stop speculating and wait what you guys come up with
Cheers
