Just wanna add (and sorry for digging this out)..

Has anyone noticed the interlocking in one of the pins is off centered with the master pin? Which means it's also rotationally Master-Keyed! Awesome! :mrgreen:

Yes, they can be rotationally master keyed, both left and right. Have some line drawings in a Corbin file on these locks.

the notches on the bottom of key....are they there to re-align the what look to be dovetail joints? Or maybe internal warding?

They are to let the tabs on the pins pass. The cylinder also has notches for the pins so that they stay aligned.

A little hard to see due to the lighting when I took the picture, but here is a Snowyboy cutaway of an Emhart with the plug turned a bit using the key. You can see the channels in the plug.

where do you find these locks?
For me its Schlage/kwikset or kwikset/schlage day in, or day out.
I got to get out more often.
