"junk locks" from the shop

So I was at the locksmith shop I work at today and saw a big box of locks and asked what they are doing with them and they said that they are the locks they usually just sell off as scrap metal and the ones they don't have keys for so I asked if I could have some and they said to help myself to whatever I find so I took a few pictures of some of the cooler locks I got but this is only a few out of all the locks took home.

By the way can anyone help me out on how to get past that damn Keymark padlock keyway because it is killing me?

Yeah I couldn't believe it when they just said to take anything I want. They had a lot more there so maybe later on I can post more here.

Is there a core in the Best padlock? I may be interested if it's for sale :D

At the moment the BEST padlock does not have a core but hopefully soon it will. And for right now the lock is not for sale but If I do sell it later on you will be who I come to first.

Will do man! That keyway on those keymark padlocks is so insanely hard to pick but soon I hope to get one.

Thanks man! They have a lot more than this there. The only reason I didn't get more is because I filled the box they gave me up and I didn't want to take too much because they do make money off those old locks but I couldn't let really nice locks like these get destroyed.

Re: "junk locks" from the shop

Well what you should do is ask them how much they make per lock scrap price and let me the members here buy them. Just post pics of what they have and im sure they will fly off the shelves ;)

Yeah I am going to see if they have any BEST cores in the "junk box" because I really want my long shackled BEST to have a use. I will be on the look out for something for you Riyame.
