Very cool lock
Another name on my to-buy list
Edit: there's a page about this cool lock on "High-Security Mechanical Locks: An Encyclopedic Reference" and google is letting me see this page of the book after a simple search.
Cheers

Do the spools allow for pins in both shear lines to bind at the same time when picking? I'm not sure I said that right but my thought was that if they are separated enough, it would be like picking a 4-ping lock, getting a slight turn of the plug, and then picking a 3-pin lock (or the other way around depending on the direction you tension). I understand there's a video, I'll check that out tonight and see if that provides more insight.
