Yeah, you're right haha. That definitely sounds more up my alley. I'll have to give it a try! Thanks :)

Re: Magic the Gathering

I traded a box full of magic cards for a model rocket when I was in 8th grade. I didn't realize at the time I traded hundreds (maybe thousands???) of dollars worth of cards for a $15 model rocket. At the time I thought I got a great deal. I doubt my friend even has them anymore. I still have my rocket.

I have some friends who play and thought about getting back into it but then I realized how expensive it is to get in. I had traded and gotten extra cards from friends so I didn't really spend that much when I first started. I sort of remember having some awesome cards that would probably be worth a lot now. I always took good care of my stuff too.

Re: Magic the Gathering

I played for a while around high school and at the start of college. Happened to be in a group of other high schoolers when it was all the rage with them, and my first G/F happened to be into it as well so I continued into college... This was around the Odyssey block IIRC. I had a -LOT- of cards at one point but sold them all off in bulk as I moved away and didn't really have anyone to play with any more.. Shame really, I miss it.
