I was lucky to run across this pair of really cool combination locks called Lock Sakae made in Tokyo Japan by Kenei Mfg.Co. These locks have no numbers to reference they are click type combination. You count the clicks of each of the 3 wheels that have 10 clicks per wheel. Very high quality made of heavy brass with nickle plating. They were made with very close tolerances as the wheels have no gap between them as you can see. The clicks are solid no wiggle at all on each click. I was amazed how well they are made. I have never seen these before and didn't expect anything near the quality when I bought them on ebay. Was very pleased when I open the package and felt the weight and machining quality of these. Both have different combinations as I was hoping they would have. The name plate on the top the lettering and red color has a vintage appeal to it. Have no idea how old they are as they are Pat Pending plus can't find any reference to them but one tiny picture you can hardly see on the antique padlock site but has to be made long long ago. Amazing condition. Nice addition to my click lock collection.
