Very old rim latch , suspect to be from a church

Been given this whopper on loan by an old guy , this is huge !
10" by 6.5 sadly it is not in full working order , but a lever needs a new pivot pin and a little straightening , the key does throw the bolt but it can be dragged or pushed back into the housing from the outside .
I intended to strip this for gutshot , but i was caked in grease and wanted the mess off my washing machine top !

God yes ! i think i need to wash my hands again too , i imagine the guy will be happy to let me repair the lock , so i will clean it up and do a proper gut shot , i realised after putting the lock back together , that i didn't show the damaged part , i was too dirty by that point !
