My modest collection.

The starter set I gathered from around the house.

My first quality practice cylinders.

American Lock 1100 series in 5 pin and 6 pin cores.

Image

Abus No. 34/55's 6 pin cores. (These are the NYCHA surplus ones from ebay. I bought them to put into service and try picking later so I asked for additional pins to match the keying of one of the locks. Instead the kind seller gave me 4 extra keyed alike cores + keys.)

Summer sale pack from macgng that just arrived today.

Thanks. The Abus are still way beyond me. I've gotten pretty far on the American 5pin but not open yet.

Oops!

That'd be due to the magic of image correction on my phone. The darn lock wouldn't sit pretty for me so I snapped upside down and did a quick invert afterwards. I missed that little detail.

Well, my collection grew rapidly and faster than my documenting it. So, I decided on a more interesting direction for this thread of mine. From here on my posts shall be of locks I've had the pleasure to pick and collect .... in a more interesting presentation.
My lock photography can also be viewed here-->https://flic.kr/s/aHskv3U6Tx for full size images.
