Re: MacGnG's Lock Collection

That laminated BIR Yale... I have one as well. I've not seen many.
Mine says A-20354 underneath the BIR and has a PH on the plug.

It was a very odd pick. Due to its' age I suppose.
Care to look; it's the 3rd lock in this vid at about 2:00

And I like your FB 200 :) Mine has been serving me well.
A very finicky machine though that takes a 'special' touch.

Re: MacGnG's Lock Collection

i'll check that BIR yale, but today i got a B&O signal that is the exact same model as the BIR.

the FB200 is great, got it from mastersmith. had to buy some parts from FB when i first got it. i also got a whole set of used wheels and guides on ebay for cheap. Yes it is finicky, i just gotta remember to calibrate it each session and haven't had a problem.

Re: MacGnG's Lock Collection

Heya Mac,

Nice crop of new stuff! It's always neat to have a look at the crème de la crème level of stuff you acquire.
Perhaps a bittersweet pleasure as I sometimes wish they were mine ;)

Aha! Now I see who outbid me on the Chubb Ava 1970 padlock - nice score!
However, I did manage to pick up a 1971 model that matches my own date of manufacture :)

Kind regards,
Sean

Re: MacGnG's Lock Collection

Yeah, would have liked to snag that 1970, as it is my date of manufacture.
