Jeff wanted to see these pix, but i hope it can help someone else too…

How to modify a regular medeco cam to fit into a Knox Box:

file the lil piece that restricts rotation into a square and hammer it tight into the knox box cam!

it's a bit of work, but easier than i thought!!!! ;) hope this can help someone :D

Re: MacGnG's Lock Collection

I always find myself thinking " damn hope I don't turn into mac" Then I realize there's no bloody way I could afford it. Reminder to self: Need to save money for locks (I could always stop drinking beer)!

Sweet stuff mac and keep the pics coming.

Re: MacGnG's Lock Collection

Thanks Mac! Some really nice additions to look at!

Your wife enjoys locks as well then, eh? That's great!

Was she pretty excited about the 'Love Lock' and Globe safe?
Were they both surprises or did she know they were coming?

both were surprises. i gave her the love lock as a wedding present with the hopes that we would visit the bridge in italy someday. The Iron Bank Safes are a new thing i just started getting her about a year ago.

there isn't much inside, just a bolt holding the whole thing together.

here is a link with more pix: http://www.historytoy.com/Kenton-Hardware-Co-Globe-Safe

they are pretty easy to crack, just need a bright flashlight to look thru the coin slot and see the dials, only took about a minute to get it open on this one. then you just spin the dials with the door open and decode the combo… it's only 2 digits.
