When you're ready to make keys for some of those antique padlocks, let me know.

Very nice! Did you get keys with the Keymark cylinder?

Thanks Lauren i have picked up some stock and will attempt a not quite as fancy bash at keys as I will use rod and flat stock and try to braze. I definitely do not have the skills to do what you do. So yes I will definitely be bending your ear in the future or possibly just mailing you a package if I find I'm over my head.

Doogs wrote:Been ignoring my thread for a while and have acquired a few since the last update. Here's what I think I haven't posted yet.
Padlocks:

Eagle U.S.Mail Mailbag lock w/key (macgng), Master luggage combo lockl. cheap combo luggage lock ($ store), Abloy 656 (lockmaster),

Corbin Jumbo Rim (eBay), Medeco Bi-axial Rim G3(?) kw (eBay), Medeco Bi-axial 51s rated rim and mortise cylinders unknown kw (lockmaster), Schlage Everest 6A(?) kw (eBay) Corbin 13/4" long Mortise (ebay) Bottom Medeco Keymark w/card no keys (ebay).

I think I got the sellers right If I screwed up sorry and I'll edit if so.

uh, that's Keymaster1053, not lockmaster! LOL and both those Medeco cyls (rim and mortise) are the Air or Level 1 medeco keyways. :)

Unfortunately no I didn't Jeff. I will take the cylinder and card into Kingston to see if W.R. Brightmans have a suitable blank to cut. If not they can get code cuts from Medeco in Montreal I believe.

If one of the lockies here can do it by code I will be willing to give them the business though. I can post pics of the box label, card and keyway.

Fixing my screw-up now. I'm such a dumbass!

Very nice! I might be able to get you the combinations for the Master padlocks, depending on serial #.

One shot bid and if you win, well you win, if not no biggie. This was expected to be a no biggie but turns out I got a box of old locks! Some decent ones too which is a bonus.

Re: Doogs collection

Not sure where I posted pics of my keys or even if I did so I'll toss them in here for the hell of it. I'll update as I dig them out and/or remember to snap pics.
