The southord set used to be one of the best but they changed the handle around so I don't know how well it works any more. We have a 10% discount code there, I believe it is "KEYPICK"

The honest dong dimple pick set works great for me. All metal knurled handles and the flags are held in with Allen screws so they are easily replaceable and maintained.

I don't think it's worth spending the massive amount of extra money for a name. So it's up to you but the honest dong has got me in to every mtl MT5 and interactive I've ever tried. 3 or 4 times the price isn't going to change that.

I have a SpooXe set, and it's great - I like how they reworked the handles. I think they're really reworked Goso picks, so you can modify Goso picks to your liking if you have time and tools. The Southord set with the aluminum handle is good if you only want to use one pick, but what if you want to change the pick you're using?

I would recommend the GOSO dimple pick set. They are extremely cheap at around $14 and come with multiples of left/right flags, and one left/right curved flag. With a file and sandpaper they can be modified to pick just about any dimple lock. I've had success modifying them for slider locks and use them for Twin sidebars as well. I bought two of the GOSO sets and still have many left over in case I need to modify them for something more specific. Also mentioned is the Spooxe set which is made from the GOSO set, the price difference makes it worth while to modify them yourself.

I also have the Southord set but the tips fall out of the handle. These I almost never because of that. When I do though I need to wrap a few layers of tape around the base of the pick so it wont unscrew itself when picking. These come very thick and will require some modification too.

i'll be interested to see what you think of the soubers Ratlock, i find them a bit hit or miss, especially compared to home brew.

ps we need to find a date for meeting up for some beers

I Havent had a play about with them yet, hope to get more time soon though, and a home brew beer or cider seems like a good idea Capt.
