Ilco 1000A 1000AB question

Can anyone tell me how much longer the 1000A is than the 1000AB? I ordered some 1000AB's and the are just a tiny bit too short.
macgng; it's completely unnecessary to have ~15$ in keys for a 50¢ lock ... but we all do it anyway :P
