Bodybuilding/Weight Loss/General Fitness Forum?

Would anyone be intrested in seeing a Bodybuilding section amongst all the other random threads under the open discussion section?

This would include genral muscle gain, weight loss, and just general fitness. It's something i'm very big on and i know a few others who i have spoken too both on here and youtube are into.

So let me know if this would intrest any of you. If your serious about it then by all means i would happily write huge articles on the subject and structured work out plans etc.

Thanks
Lew

I am definitely interested...weight training and lock picking are the two main things I like to do in my "free time".

I would recommend "Starting Strength" by Mark Rippetoe. If you haven't heard of him just do a google search.

As a chubby hunk of burning love, I personally enjoy having the square aerodynamics of a diesel electric locomotive - but nonetheless, I say go for it.

WTF - a few lost pounds never hurt anybody.

Ok great. i'll get to work.

I'll also do a section on Muscle building supplements, A healthy Weight loss diet plan, A body building diet plan and many more.

A big problem i faced when i first started working out was putting on too much muscle mass due to whey protein without having deffinition so i'll share all my personal experiences with you and how i overcome the problem. and just share ideas with you guys and likewise.

Uhhh, why don't you set up a second board on the same server?

I mean guns, martial arts and body building aren't really anything to do with locksport.

Re: Bodybuilding/Weight Loss/General Fitness Forum?

There are few things worse for your long term health than bodybuilding. It's compound eating disorders, supplement abuse, overtraining, and in the worst cases add drug addiction to the list. Amphetamine dependence, steroid abuse, over eating, starvation diets... there is practically nothing worse for your mental health, and physcial well being than the sport.

Joe Wieder discovered it decades ago. You can't make a living selling barbell's, but you can easily sell the addiction. Magazines full of adds for supplements edorsed by professional addicts. That's bodybuilding. It doesn't have anything to do with healthy living, except the outward appearance of physical health. Those guys are dropping like flies.

I don't see the need for it. There are plenty of resources for this psuedo science crap already.

OH CRAP! I bet this just opened the door for Hallis to go on a 360 word rant! Ha ha, why not just add this to the forum and see how much airtime it gets, seems to be lots of interested people!

Simple response. Don't like it? Don't look at it. It's called self-censorship.

I think it is cool to come on this site, for me it is usually when I am bored as hell, it's kind of a one stop shop, you get to read and post about your locks and lockpicking, plus you also get to read about other interesting stuff like the world events, and guns and ammo. Why not add other things that are readable?

Step 1: Decide on a Focus to your forum
You have to have a target audience. The human race doesn't qualify as a target. You need to be a tad more specific.
