Oregon

Recently we have had some big storms down on the Oregon Coast, there is a decomissioned lighthouse in Tillamook that every marine museum has pictures of where the waves literally reach the top! I thought it would be interesting to show you guys a link of one of our historical monuments. If anybody else has some cool pictures or stuff from where they live, I am always interested in looking at them! It is cool to look at all the different areas of the world.

Thanks Mick! Your country is very beautiful! Your ocean looks so warm I wanted to jump in when I saw the pictures!

The dolphins are frolicking,

Re: Oregon

I think we could get hypothermia most all year around in our ocean, it's cold! We don't have many reports of sharks, but in certain places we can watch the whales, one restaurant on the beach front you can eat breakfast in and watch the ocean and the whales, very cool for something to do on a weekend!

Re: Oregon

The whale's would be very nice to see. We were fishing a few month's back, at a place called Augusta, catching heaps of bream, then the dolphins came in and put an end to that, lol.
Which is ok because the boy's get a real kick out of seeing them so close to shore, and we had enough fish.
