Microsoft word

Hey you guys, I want microsoft word, I don't want to pay out the ass for it, some members here are fricken hacker geniuses, I don't have much to trade but I would like to make some sort of deal if anybody can get me this program. I know you all wonder why I want it, but it is the only program that is compatible with what employers are using right now to send resumes and stuff like that. Thanks guys.

Try the Sun Microsystems "Open Office"... It's an open source office program with pretty much all the resources and compatibilty that Microsoft Office offers. It's a free download and will let you open, create and modify word documents, excel spreadsheets, access databases, powerpoints... you get the picture.

Open office is nice, but there are some slightly annoying imcompatibilities with MS Office, so it depends on if you need certain features (i.e. password protects files with passwords that work in MS Word for sharing protected files with others. It has it's own password system that works on its own files for other people with Open Office, but not w/ MS Office.) Just something to think about. There are also some positioning irregularities when going between the two. That said, I use both MS office and Open office in my line of work.

One thing to keep in mind, is if you or someone you know is in high school, or college they can get insanely discounted full versions. If that sounds like a possible option for you let me know, and I'll send you some links.
