Very neat! But at such a low melting point, you aren't going to be able to use this technique in the summer. :P

i suppose that would depend on where you live, i doubt it's very practical at the best of time, but an intresting curiosity none the less.

this has ALWAYS been on my wish list. i just got a clam shell from LSA so once i find an inexpensive source (doing that now), i'm gonna buy some!

Oh yeh, speaking of NurdRage, that reminds me, don't use gallium with alluminium.

It has such a low melting temp that it will liquify in your hands!

But if ya want to get some to play with, check out the seller galliumsource on ebay

That looks like a fun metal to play with, alltho I would not try making keys with it.

Unfortunatly the guy in the video deosn'e mention what kind of metal he's using, he says it melts at about 90 Degrees C, the only thing I can find that melts at around that temprature and isnt particularly toxic is 'Rose's metal' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rose_metal

I got some Wood's metal off Ebay. Haven't tried doing anything with it yet.
