Gerber Tools and Bear Grylls

I'm no fan of Bear Grylls but I am huge fan of Gerber Knives and tools without a doubt one of the best out there for inexpensive quality knives and tools. Apparently they teamed up with Bear Grylls for a signature series, could care less for the look of these tools, but the site includes some good info, worth checking out.

Re: Gerber Tools and Bear Grylls

I don't care for the guy. He seems far to eager to drink his own pee.

As for the Gerber products I can't say enough good things about them. I still have a small multi tool that I got for free setting up some HESCO barriers in 2005. The little tool is amazing for a freebie.

I also had a Gerber Gator that looks really similar to the new knife in that link except for color. It was tremendous as well, very comfortable to carry in the work environment.

Re: Gerber Tools and Bear Grylls

What pisses me off about Bear is he teaches some great stuff, but he's a fake it's all simulated and he's never in real danger even though he acts like it. They've had dozens of proof videos of him being fake, but his info is solid. And I agree If I could put all my money into one stock it'd be Gerber, I carry a multi tool, a 30 dollar knife and a flashlight all made by them at all times.

I don't like watching it because all he seems to want to do is eat all of the filthiest stuff he can find just for the shear shock value.
Otherwise it wouldn't be so bad.
