George washington sears aka Nessmuck

Nessmuck was a early explorer in the 1800's, he wrote a few books and you can read and download one of them for free.

The book is titled Woodcraft and Camping.

In his book he explains his kit he would carry, for exploration and his base camp kit, aswell as his kit he always had on him. he talks about fishing and cooking

I believe we must use these type of resources to learn the bushcraft skill and survival because the knowledge we can take from these type of writings outweighs any now adays sources for learning these forgotten skills.
