I know I'm a bit late but what's the second key from the left among the "air fresheners"?

It's for a Sargent & Greenleaf Enviromental Padlock

Ah, thanks easy-e. I wasn't familiar with that lock. Looks like I'm not sleeping for another 30minutes or so.. :)

haha! I see you've caught the bug!

There's just NEVER enough time... and there never WILL BE!
Honestly, this lack of time 'factor' can really get me irritable at times :???:
It has the potential to bother me MUCH MORE than a lock that will not open. lol

Rock on.... but remember to eat & sleep a little.
A shower once in a while doesn't hurt either. lol

So I had my first day off in a long time, and decided to give the front of my car a little upgrade. lol

Image

Alison didn't think it was a real good idea to start cutting into my car, LOL.
Nevertheless, I began the slow decent into the Toyota emblem with my dremel

Image
The whole assembly was more hollow than I had anticipated. The deeper I went,
the less surface material I was left with for gluing on my 'new' emblem.

All said and done, I have a smoothed out depression ready to accept......

Image

A safe dial!!! HahahaaaAAA!

Image

This is what it's going to look like. It's not permenantly glued YET... just roughly placed.

Image

So my question to all you glue gurus.... WHICH glue should I use for this?

Materials we're adhering: What I cut into I assume is some type of plastic.
And the back of the dial (after I pealed of the magnetic strip) is tin.

For some cool fridge magnets, check out nebu418 on ebay.
Great to deal with, nice guy, and really loves his work.

That's the Oldfast we all know and love!

I'd recommend using epoxy of some sort.

Nice idea man. I would sand the back of the dial emblem to roughen it up and then put as much epoxy into there as you can fit.

Oldfast, at work I use a 2 part epoxy from NAPA. They have several different choices, some for metal, some for plastics and some for both. I've actually had better luck with the 2 part epoxies than JB Weld, but each has its place. Mark
P.S. Cool idea by the way, I like it!!
