if i remember correctly that a magnet pry's apart the black bar, bypassing all the gates.
i two have always wanted to try it, i have a bank that puts these locks everywhere, and i have to wait several minutes at each door for a teller to let me in. If i would ever have a magnet strong enough to do this, i would probably get in trouble, but i was be able to get twice as much work done.
