Locks I see out and about

I thought I might make a little area where I could post pictures of all the locks I see while I'm out so here it is.

The only picture I have at the moment is this WB. I was actually on Google Earth and saw this open area in the middle of the woods with a wood fence around it so after taking a while walking through the woods trying to find this place I finally did and saw this lock. The place has been vandalized and just trashed so the fence has no point now because anyone can just walk right in through the huge holes in it so sadly this lock doesn't have a use any more other than keeping the front gate closed.

Thanks man! I can't take the credit for the idea though because I saw Mister Sour had posted this as an idea on another post so I thought I would go ahead and bring the idea to life here.

Oh and post as many pictures as you please, I love to see the locks people come across!

I see many of those too - is the rusted one an 'ACE' padlock? Not as is the ACE tubular locks (though it might be the same company, I don't know).

As for the Yale padlock, I JUST picked a newer version of the same lock, wouldn't pick until I WD40'd it then it went after a while. Cool idea, I'm gonna get taking pics!

Wow! A cruciform lock in the wild. Haven't seen one in the wild before. Cool thread!

Re: Locks I see out and about

This was my first time ever seeing one of these in person and they are a lot heavier and bigger than I thought from looking at pictures!

I usually don't like asking for this kind of stuff but if anyone has one that they would be okay with letting me play around with for a bit and then send back please pm me.

Sure did. Got on the train tracks, took the picture, then got off as soon as I could. Even though I didn't see a train those tracks are still a bit freaky to stand on.
