On installation the flaw or weakness of this expensive and exclusive high security french cylinder his jaw dropping.
imagine fitting one of these to find out ,it connects on to the main lock body with two screws.
high security at its best.

Well, in fairness, most mortise cylinders are only held in place with one screw... granted, though: it doesn't look like either those screws or that flange are hardened steel.

IN order to fit the lock the screws must be accessible,easy to reach, and are on the face side,easy to get to.

I don't know how they are in UK but in Fr some of these locks have a relocker. If you break down the lock plug or they you turn it by force the relocked fires and ... !!!! The problem with these locks is ... when the lock is becoming older and older (after 5 or 6 years of use) you can get a lot of malfunctions because of the wear
On some reinforced Fichet doors, the relocker uses to fire when you slam the door !!!

The lock has two lugs on the back to prevent this attack,dont know about any relocker,would be interesting to find out .

The lock out problem with the fichet may be caused ,because over the years with vibration on the door the actual screws that hold the lock ,to the main lock casing have come loose.
in effect have separated,the lock may work ,but its not engaging the cam and throwing the bolt.
this may seem as if the lock is being blocked by a relocker,but in actual fact its just spinning.
try the lock for play,then gently tap the lock back to reseat it,then try and unlock it.
strip it ,and retighten and use a bit of lock tight on the screws,to stop it happing again.
