How did you remove the tiny pin preventing the removal of the plug?

i dont understand,,there is no tiny pin holding the plug in..there is a set-screw allen keyed pin,
(the part coated in blue ™loc-Tite) that retains the shackle ,and when you remove that, the shackle comes out completely,allowing access to another bolt which holds the trapdoor,&
subsequently,the plug in.

Nevermind, I figured it out, it was the tiny pin you need to depress in order to unscrew the back end of the plug to remove it. I'm sure there is a name for it, but I'm a newb...please forgive
The one you disassembled I don't think was exactly the same as the one I have.
