My plans on learning to pick security pins...

My plan is to strip down one of the transparent practice padlock locks you can buy ;

, and then Re-populating its' pin chambers using ASSA "sneaky" pins (nomenclature courtesy of HAN FEY, taken from his review and opinion documents released on the subject...)

Therewill follow a step-by-step journal OF my experiments with this, so stay tuned.... :)

American Lock 1100 Series padlocks. Super fun way to learn security pins and also extremely fun to pick.

Hi

I've already dismantled a plastic padlock similar to my avatar.

The quickest way to remove the plastic strip holding the springs and pins

is to first open the lock then push the strip from the inside were the shackle rests.
