This time the experiment was successful. With the nylon strip that I pushed in the keyway I was able to hold the pins on the sheer line and managed to turn the plug fully without activating the trap pins.

Nice work, well done & thanks for sharing that!

I don't have any locks with trap pins in them, so I can't test this idea, but another material you could use to fill the lock effectively is dental floss. In case they call it something different in Bulgaria, this is a strong & thin waxed thread, that is used for cleaning inbetween teeth.

I know that dental floss was commonly used to fill the keyways of dimple locks like some Kabas, to prevent the key pins from falling out into the plug when the plug is turned after picking it. If it suits that application, it should work well for dealing with trap pins.

Since it is strong & is waxed, it should be very easy to remove from the lock. I do think your method, using plastic film will probably fill the lock more quickly, though.

I am unfamiliar with these locks.
Look very hard to pick.
Traps pins, do they stop the plug from rotating after being picked?
Is it possible to disassemble and show how they work?
Right now, I am happy I have never had to deal with one of these.
Thanks
