new pick case I made.

IMG_8009.JPG
There is my new lock pick case. I couldn't justify spending a ton on a peterson case large enough to fit them all. so I went the 14 dollar route. It has been awhile since i sewen but i broke out the machine and made this I'm happy with it and looks good. Most importantly it functions flawlessly. Great fits on the picks so I'm happy about it. It will hold 21 picks in style  Still cant pick worth a dam though i need practice did manage to open a house door by raking just can't spp it.. guess that means practice practice practice.. anyways lets hear y'all opinions and thoughts on this case

Not bad. I would be worried about picks falling out the top. It's hard to tell how tightly things are held in but a flap sewn to the inner top edge would prevent accidental loss.

Very nice! Homemade is always so gratifying isn't it?!
You made this entirely? The $14 was just the material?

Good suggestion from Dave. But again, might be fairly tight already.
I also like a couple larger/wider pockets. On my Peterson case I actually
removed a couple of the seems to do this. Comes in handy for certain items.

actually I couldn't even make them fall out even when it was open. I shook the hell out it in every direction and couldn't make them come out. They are in there really tight but can still get them out easy. The material grabs them pretty well no sliding or moving around unless you make them

actually just the material on one was way cheaper than that I got a full yard of it at a local store so I have more to play with. But yea I always love something I built way more than anything I buy even if it's not quite perfect

Drussel, I like it when the journey is as much/more fun as the destination! Many things I make are more inteesting to make than to use. Enjoy the journey my friend!
