Very unique! Nice job, if you polished them anymore we would all be blind!!
I have been in the souls of many women, but I always end up on the soles of there shoes.
Re: Some Mo picks
nice...
one question,though,
why do you notch out the underside of the blade?
is that where you rest your feeling finger?
great job on the polish as well.

Re: Some Mo picks
interesting designs. Care to elaborate on the notch the guy above me pointed out?
Do you make these for a personal collection, or do you export?

What did you use for the blades?? I'm just having a little go at making some picks myself!! not a patch on yours though mate.

Thanks for the compliments guys. The relief cuts are mostly decorative. They do relieve some pressure but I saw them on another makers picks in another forum and thought they looked sorta Sci-fi cool.
As for polishing I go through 260-400-600-800-2000 for about 15-20 minutes each or until the marks from the previous grit are gone. Then I finish with Nevr-Dull.
The following is my current working set and they show where I put the finger rest. Hallis, that bottom one is a modified Queen pick. It's the one on the far right in the upper pic.
Right now I'm going through a brush full of sweeper bristles and a spool of 1/4inch flat plumbing snake (new). When I have the time I make new ones.
The above set was for a lockie friend of mine in exchange for some locks. Here's what I'm working with now
