Homemade Case

I couldn't find a case that would work for me. So I made my own. It's a 11 in X 9 in ringless day planer. I cut out all the pocket. I used a thin vinyl with a soft black backing on it. After I sewed all the pockets on it. I cut two pieces of thin cardboard and glued it onto them. Then glued it in to the case.

I have six different pick sets in it, my plug spinner, tubular lock pick, and a case full of tension wrenches, Ward picks and jigglers.

Re: Homemade Case

I have about $5 in it. I had the day planner. and I only bought 1/3 of a yard of material 48in wide. It dont take much skill to sew a stright line. Just remember to back stitch both ends to lock in the stitching so it don't unravel.

Re: Homemade Case

Your right Jason. His cases are certainly good enough to offer for
sale.

Some of great tools made by members, housed in one of these excellent looking cases would make for some fine kit.

Re: Homemade Case

Excellent Job! Looks as good if not better than professional kits. Also, looks like it'd be easy to make/add a page or two as your tool inventory expands.
