I'm going to agree with Kokomo, very nice notch cut into the tip. Good work dude.
Naaapaalm...sticks to kids...it sticks to the belly and it sticks to the ribs...
See those kids standing by the lake...drop some napalm and watch them bake.

Re: what are they?

personally i thought it was a feeler pick( i have one simalur.... but not quite )..... hmmm never thought about a medico specific pick.... to be honest even though we have several types of medico locks here at the shop.... door locks, deadbolts exc... I've never actully tryed to Pick one... allways heard it was kinda impossable  ( allthough from what I've heard about some of Assa's little *ahem* quirks it dousn't really surpise me ).. I guise nothings safe any more lol

PS
not to get off topic here but Assa is one of the most deppressing things in the picking community I've ever heard of ... cept of course the good old *sic* smart key :puke:

Re: what are they?

I like "Rotatinator" even if it really is made for sliders...

Medeco locks certainly aren't impossible. Their cam lock design is much harder than their standard deadbolt/mortise/KIK cylinders. You should be able to find info on picking them with a little searching around here.

...I understand that you're a beginner. But putting the words Assa and Smartkey in such close proximity is just plain wrong.

Assa locks are definitely hard to pick, they are sturdy, reliable, tough to drill... Kwikset smartkey locks are also tough to pick, but that's where the similarities end. Kwikset smartkey locks are unreliable, they may not survive a picking attempt, they aren't tough to force open (no drill required). It's also possible to decode them while on the door and cut a key (I'm not a fan of breaking a customers lock on lockouts, ...even though the lock is junk to begin with). They're also sloppy enough that you can make a set of try keys for them, but since I decode them I have no use for a set of try keys.

why are assa locks depressing? cause you cant open them... i dont really understand this comment, if they are a challange that that should motivate you to get better... not depress you... if you are calling them crap... go die :armed:

you are going to have to clarify,ratt...shed some light on ASSA's "little quirks"....
ASSA makes some of the finest,well-engineered locks in production, and most are incredibly challenging to pick.
surely you are confusing ASSA with another, similar sounding make?

(allthough if its simalur and actully allways impossable,it dous'nt surpise me...its deppressing.)
