DIY Security Pins

So I had read on here that someone had made security pins using a drill and file and I thought I would give it a go as I have only 2 or 3 spare security pins.

very happy with the results

Re: DIY Security Pins

lol, the ones that I made were just ASSA 6000 side pins cut smaller, and a couple of pins that I mangled with a dremel cutoff disk. These look much more professional than mine.

Re: DIY Security Pins

Very easy to make if anyone wants to. The hardest part is getting them straight in the drill so they don't wobble. Then just a needle file. I'm excited to try a bunch more. Maybe some different types :angspool: :barrel: :assaspool:

Re: DIY Security Pins

How about loading them in a pin vise, then chucking the pin vise in the drill? Just a thought.
