Will do. I'll run em' through a dozen mortise cylinders I've been neglecting n' let ya know how it goes.
Of course, we'll have to take into account my lack of technique/experience with raking/jiggling. lol

Re: Nozza36, homebrew

Nice picks, and finally nice pictures too :)
The only improvement that come to mind, while looking at the last picture, is to make the 5 peaks rakes a bit more irregular. If those picks were keys, the bittings would be 444444. I'd make something different, like 58424 and its brother 42485. Then a 24684. I'm just throwing out numbers so don't take me literally.

Cheers :)

Made the smallest set i've ever seen today , just 3 picks ; hook , rake and my raking half diamond , the tension wrench sits in the fold away handle and the picks hold it in place , bit more sanding and then done !

Funny you would say that cause I do most of my filing out side. I live on the coast literally across the ocean from you on cape Breton island my relatives came from England in the early 1800s .

But... you're in England. So if you can't make picks when it's rainy or cold, how are you able to make picks at all???!?! ;)

3" mini grinder.

It's cheap, but is a surprisingly good tool. I wouldn't try to sharpen a lawnmower blade on it or anything, but for pick fabrication and polishing it works pretty damn well.

Lets try this again. :P

7.62 cm grinder. If that doesn't fit in your kitchen you have bigger problems than your tools. Really though, I hold mine on my lap (probably not the safest idea, but yeah).

Re: Nozza36, homebrew

Aedalas , i couldn't set that up in my kitchen , what about the dust and muck that would be flicked all over everything , may ask my Dad nicely if he will let me set one up in his shed though , it would save me a great deal of time and cutting wheels !
