I recently came into possession of a decent sized collection of locks and several picks from a deceased lock enthusiast.
Has anyone ever seen this pick set before or know where it comes from? It came in a Klom bag but I don't think it's made by them.
I'm hoping to learn more about this interesting person through the tools he has purchased. There is some other interesting tools he was working on that I might be able to get working and take pictures of.
Thanks for any information

I would say it was made by Klom. Cheap Chinese picks.

That case is for the standard $6 black plastic handled set so it was only being used as a case. You are probably right thought, it's just something I haven't seen before, with a nice hand feel but missing any sort of fine edge finishing.

They don't look like any Klom picks that I have ever seen( Not that I've seen every set) or any other brand.
They even look like they could be home made, from round stock.
Other than that, I can't say.

Interesting. I've never seen commercial picks made from round stock before.
Thanks for the pic Jacob, and the link spuds.

Those are home-brewed picks, in a KLOM case.

Well ... there you go.
One of the reasons that I love this site.
From the price (and appearance) they must be the top of the line Klom picks.
I bet they are nice to use.

Adrian did a video on those in the last few months. Verdict: worthless. I have a similar set and agree. Worthless as tits on a bull.

Well.... there you go again.
They do look quite nice.
Pity they don't live up to appearances.
Thanks HT4 and Spuds et. al. I could have been, almost tempted.
What's the main problem? Blades too thick??
