nice 1, i was half thinking of getting one myself.
tell me how ye get on with it. :]
A zealous locksmith died of late,

And did arrive at heaven gate,

He stood without and would not knock,

Because he meant to pick the lock.

Re: my new HPC key punch

Slave keys are !!

watch this vid it may give you a better idea !
Slave keys are just the same as key blanks but the material is much softer almost like brass to cut,

Like i say i mostly have them for auto entry, have never seen them used for bump keys, but i swear i can see a bundle of them in the picture.

Anyway - great AM bump keys

pretty much any (non high security) auto and residential blank.
the S&D & any other pertinent data is printed on cards which are inserted into the punch.
tip stop keys go in one way, shoulder stop keys go in the other way.
if the jaw will hold it,odds are you can print out a card for it, and punch away.,with the exception of paracentric keyblanks, (such as Abus)
it came with around 200 laminated cards and that in itself covers pretty much any key i will want to cut.
also there is software.
(HPC ™CardWare, and ™Keys n' Cards are two i know of..)

Re: my new HPC key punch

thanks awol70 sounds awesome as you said bumpkeys will now be a breeze

I think I saw a vid somewhere on the net of someone giving a demo of this punch but he only punched one key as a copy then made a bump key from the produced key.
