Channellock 50s As Pinning Pliers

No idea if this is where I should be posting this but anyway...
The other day while cleaning the shop I found a pair of Channel Lock "50s" (spring opening) Needle Pliers and as I suspected they are excellent for pinning locks.
I'm not sure if they've been disscontinued or what, the only place I can find them online is Amazon.com and they are out of stock and have been for quite some time.
But if you can get ahold of a pair I suggest giving them a try. I far prefer them to pinning tweezers.

Genius!! I will scour the web in attempts to find them. I actually have a pair of the diagonal cutters and needle nose in that same line. Wish they had not discontinued them.

Guess what! I got a pair from one of the guys at Garage Journal. I suspect yours were modified as the tips on mine are perfectly straight...hmmm

Why don't you use tweezers for pinning?
