MIWA 3800 Decode/Opening

This is the 4 tumbler, non-dimple'd version of the lock.

This was the 1st prototype, more recent ones have > 1 sensor and will be fully portable.

The only thing stopping this from working on the other MIWA's is the make up key but new versions are already on their merry way.

Hux, I'm amazed with what you accomplished in so little time!
That is brilliant, many thanks for showing it to us!

Yes it's not only possible, but not very difficult also! Would make the taking down notes of the magnets orientation much easier :D

Keep up the awesome work mate! :salute:

Re: MIWA 3800 Decode/Opening

Just a quick update...

This tool is now on it's 3rd prototype incarnation. It is now fully portable and makes use of an LCD touchscreen for I/O. Once I have finished the coding for it I think it is safe to say it is complete (but only for this 4 tumbler version of the 3800 due to lack of other MIWA locks!).

Re: MIWA 3800 Decode/Opening

So here is the video of the 3rd prototype. The video says 2nd prototype and it is the 2nd complete prototype...but whatever.

The make up key is coming on nicely too...

Looking good! :akimbo:
