WTB Best WK Key Blanks and/or Cores

Been searching high and low for a long time now, and decided to see if anybody here can help. I have almost all Best SFIC sections. But can not find WK.

Best has not made the WK blanks or cores in over 8 years now. And these were not common to begin with. So if you can help me complete my Best collection by selling me some Best WK blanks, cores, or both, please let me know. Heck, I'd even be glad for a single cut key so at least I have one on my tryout ring to be sure of the section.

If you can help me with keys, blanks or cores for Best WK, please let me know via PM.

Thank you for looking, whether you can help me or not.

Gordon

The vendor I usually use carries Arrow and when I found out they make clones of BEST "W" series cores and keys I tried for two years to get WK. After endless delays the rep finally admitted to me that while they advertise the whole series, they only make most of them, hadn't had enough demand for WK so had never done a run of that keyway. The closest I've been able to get is WB.

Just hoping that someone somewhere has some dead stock they'd part with.

I'm guessing you already checked Tim Monte? That's where I would start lol.

Yes. He helped with a few missing sections, but no WE or WK. Jeff got the WE, now only need WK. Thanks for suggestion. :)

Hawley Lock Supply? Guru of used locksmith equipment down yonder in Phoenix. I'm digging through notes trying to find names of Best folks that I've dealt with in the past.

Hi Gordon,

The search for the holy grail is a noble quest indeed - I too have tried many an avenue searching for the long sought WK keyway.
I concur that your best chance resides in dead stock - somewhere out there, in a dusty, mislabeled box, resides a beautiful nugget of gold.
Sometimes, in the dead of night, if you listen with the right kind of ear you might hear it's siren song: "pick me if you dare, pick me if your dare" :D

Good luck in your quest,
Sean

I wonder how many blanks and cores would be needed to get Best to make a few up.... :D

I am absolutely ashamed I forgot about these two fine gentlemen.

Randy Main: http://www.iccores.com/index.html One of the nicest guys in the world, seriously.

Bill Lynk: http://www.iclsglobal.com/index.html This man sits on a Brass Throne made of SFIC's. He wrote THE definitive book, and might be able to point you in the right direction.

Good luck.

In an Email dates Sept 2013: "On the WK you would have to buy 50 at a time and he does not have enough turn over."

So there is your answer if you really want to get them
I would have gotten them by now if it was even close to affordable... But, it is possible ;)
