Here is my first pick up for auction. Dalmatian ebony handle. Pick is made of 0.024" high carbon steel feeler gauge. Approx. 5 3/4" long. Pick is attached to the handle with sterling silver pins and epoxy.

The auction will go till ... umm... next Thursday at 10:00pm Central time, I guess. So July 21, 2011 at 10:00pm central time who ever has posted the highest bid on this thread wins.

Starting bid is $40.
USPS first class mail shipping is included in the price.

NOTICE: Keypicking receives no compensation from this auction and all funds generated are strictly for Ratyoke's sole benefit. I want people to know that this is soley to benefit your work and not KP - as KP has done nothing but given you a forum to display your craftsmanship.

Only members in good standing may bid on these items.

I have several other picks I am working on that I will be posting here for sale once they are done.
Handle material, from the top down: micarta, ebony, cocobolo (x2), box wood, snake wood.

$50

Impressive workmanship. I wish you success in your auctions (even though it'll mean I have to pay more).

Just curious, is there a bidding cap on this? Say like $10 per person, per bid? Or can someone come on and throw a $300 bid and shut everyone out?

They can do that if they want, but I will still let the auction run till the end.

Come on guys, let's not be stingy with bids! If you're going to place a bid, at least make it a respectable increment of a few bucks to show Ratyoke we appreciate his workmanship so he'll want to keep making picks!

$60, plus I'll donate an extra 10% ($6) to Keypicking for generously hosting this auction without asking for anything in return.
