Auction-100th Anniversary American Lock

The nuts and bolts first. I am auctioning off an American A700 padlock. This is the 100th Anniversary commemorative padlock passed out at a trade show today. These locks as of this minute are not for sale but they will be for sale soon and will be discontinued at the end of the year. 100% of the proceeds from this auction will be donated by me to keypicking.com as soon as I receive the funds. Funds will be sent to me by Paypal and I am willing to ship overseas if the buyer will work with me on the shipping. Otherwise U.S. and Canada I will pay the shipping out of pocket.

The end of the auction will be 9:00pm Pacific Standard Time Sunday July 22, 2012.

I'm not sure what keyway the general sale of these will be in I forgot to ask but this one in on a proprietary Edge keyway so you can't get duplicates made unless you find a locksmith with his own and you remove the ball bearings from the cylinder.

I will post a video later tonight of me picking my own lock of this same version. I will not touch the lock on auction. Happy bidding!

Wow, Keymaster what a great starting bid thank you.

Here is the video, and again this is exactly like the lock up for auction but not the same one.

I'm not positive but I think you can sign in as a guest to make a one time payment. I will check on that.

Excellent. Very generous of you Matt.

Nice lock. Loved the vid... great pickin' and breakdown. And I was pleased to see some serrations!
I was beginning to wonder if we'd ever see em' again since Master took em' over. lol

Thanks for the auction, and a good look at the lock. I hadn't had a good look at the edge system yet.

Nice lock! Please post the URL when you put her up on Ebay. I did a search this morning and couldn't find it.

Cheers!

Ok, I have confirmed you do not have to have a Paypal account to participate in this auction. It will still go through Paypal but you do not have to have an account with them.
