Original Abloy Lever Mortise Lock Made in Finland

Here is a very unique lock for those desiring that "something different" in their collection!! This Abloy Mortise Lever Lock has never been used, just collecting dust in storage. it comes with the inside Thumbturn, the outside lock cylinder with three original keys (which by the way is a Rim Cylinder NOT a Mortise Cylinder!! but it IS a mortise lock!! Must be old!) Also includes the special Strike plate. That's not all, This lock is even MORE special!! if you want it to, it will Auto-Lock the Deadbolt simply by closing the door!!! There is a third tab in-between the latch and the bolt. when that gets depressed by the strike plate, if you have pressed that small Gray button below the bolt first, it will throw the bolt. If you don't want it to lock, simply either turn the key or thumbturn to retract the bolt, press the bolt in with your finger a little more, you will hear a click. that has engaged the Gray button. Until that gray button gets depressed again, it will stay unlocked. Very Unique Lock at a Very Unique price. $85.00 which DOES include shipping (to most places, if you live on the other side of the planet, contact me)

Thats a very common lock here. Well, it used to be. Your lock is propably from 1960´s or -70´s. Oldstyle keyheads.
The third little tab allso locks the latch so it can´t be shimmed when the door is closed. (At least the locks from 70´s to nowadays have it)
Never used, so its rare and a great add to anyones collection. Nice!

Cool! thanks for the info. Mine must be an original as that middle latch does not deadlock the main latch in either the locked or unlocked position.
