Hey mick! I honestly think it'd be trickier with regular pins... the feeling of those spools setting correctly is just so strong it's nigh on impossible to overset them. :mrgreen:

I don't like double posting, but I found out something interesting and I have to share. ABUS use key pins very similar to these in some of their cylinders as a counter measure against bumping.

I think the idea is to dissipate some of the energy so the drivers don't jump as much. Doesn't make it bump proof, but it does make it more difficult. I think coupled with the balanced drivers in this, they'd do a pretty good job... I'd test it to find out, but I don't wanna put bump keys anywhere near this beauty. :mrgreen:
