I'd be interested to know aswell... I have no idea if there is an umbrella term for them; I actually doubt there even is one. I think those keys are referred to as dual bitted, but as for the locks I'm not sure since the side bitting is usually there to make a sidebar to retract into the plug.

The only pin tumbler lock I know of which has 2 pin stacks next to each other (and minus a sidebar) is the DOM ix-10, and it's a dimple system.

Its doesnt look like a dom...the key looks more like a Federal bilock to me,i doubt its that tho. Hmm

It's definately not a bilock, "sae han" suggests to me that it's a cheap korean imitation of the assa twin. That's not what he's asking though.

There's a pin tumbler by Dom that has two rows of pins, no sidebar ( DOM System D), but the keys are different to the key shown.

That's got to be a Bilock. It doesn't matter what the head of the key says, because for all we know that could be an off brand blank, The numbers would give you an identification but the words don't matter much.

Don't all bilock keys have a u shape profile? this one resembles more a assa twin key.

Your right Bezza, I see those all the time in my National Locksmith Mag, they have advertising everywhere! A little off topic but have you seen how they duplicate those bilock keys!! Pretty neat if you ask me!

The QC system is an interchangeable core meaning that with the change key you are able to remove the core of the lock and insert the core from another QC lock. Some people have even used the QC system on their homes and businesses to change out their door locks for sitters or construction workers if you need any more info just ask
