Colt 1911

A guy walked into a crowded bar, waving his 1911 Colt .45 with an 8 round magazine
and yelled, "Who in here has been screwing my wife?"

A voice from the back of the bar yelled back, "You need more ammo."

Just another fine example of why you need to own high-capacity firearms.

Hate to be a wet rag, however, the mag capacity of a 1911 is seven, to get eight you must have previously added one in the chamber. JFYI. "Doc"

You're right, standard mags carry seven rounds... BUT... eight round mags that still fit flush in the grip are becoming fairly common. It has a slightly different spring and a compressible follower to allow for the extra round to fit. The mag body is the same so you can get retrofit kits to convert your regular mags to 8 rd capacity. They're more geared to competitive shooters, I wouldn't trust them for daily carry with the spring and follower compressed so tightly for months at a time.

But what if your wife is the one who owns the 1911?

Possession is nine tenths of the law. Especially with a loaded firearm!
