Hello from Kansas City

Hello everyone. I am from the Kansas City area been lurking around reading the forums for awhile and absorbing the wealth of knowledge. I currently work as a maintenance man for a school district. A couple years ago I took the Foley Belsaw course and since then I have started doing minor lock work for the school district as well as my aunt who is a real estate agent.

Few months ago I decided I needed to up my picking skills so after successfully picking a couple cheapo padlocks I was hooked. I found myself a good mortise cylinder, bought a good security pin upgrade kit and created my own training / challenge lock. So far the best I have done is picking it with 5 pin stacks with 3 being spools. I recently added a 4th spool pin and am not ashamed to admit it has been whooping me pretty bad so far. I get a good false set but thats it. However I think I may have found my newest addiction.

Thanks for letting me be part of your awesome community.
